Beloved acolytes,
We’re delighted to share that the first round of printed proofs for Tome of Hagshas arrived, and we’re very happy with what we’re seeing. The interior pages look fantastic: rich, readable, and full of art: exactly the kind of experience we hoped to create for you. The book feels substantial, arcane, and… well… properly witchy.
That said, we felt the cover pages deserved a little more depth, so we gave them a full makeover.
Below you’ll find the finalized cover previews for both the Standard and Deluxe editions:
We’re incredibly proud of how these turned out, and we think they better reflect the book's tone and eerie beauty.
A small historical note we’re especially excited about: The writing you’ll see on the back of the Deluxe Edition is not placeholder text. It is the transcription of an ancient Celtic curse found on the Chamalières tablet, an archaeological find in France and one of the oldest written hexes in human history. It felt like the perfect coda for Tome of Hags: a real curse, preserved across centuries, now woven into a book about witches, hexes, and old magic. We hope you enjoy this little piece of history as much as we do.
What’s next?
Our next step is a second round of print proofs to confirm everything is perfect. After that… we move to PHYSICAL FULFILLMENT.
Which means: if you need to update your details, add anything, or double-check your information, please make sure everything is in order on BackerKit. We are shipping very soon.

Professional and well-kept package - we are very happy with the printer's shipping quality.
We’re thrilled to report that the interior pages look incredible. The paper, the ink, the weight of the book in hand—it all feels right. Substantial. Ritual-worthy. The kind of manual you want to linger over.

That said, proofing exists for a reason—and we’re very glad we took this step.
We’ve spotted a few printer-side issues, specifically some cover and spine misalignment, that need to be corrected before we move into mass production. This is exactly why we order proofs before sending anything to you. Large-scale printing rewards patience and precision, and we’re taking both seriously.

Our friends at Hod Publishing have officially begun work on the Tome of Hags Foundry VTT module—and things are already looking very promising. We’re sharing a few image previews so you can peek behind the curtain and see the magic taking shape. If all goes well, the module should be ready soon. 👀✨
🎭 Update #2: VTT Tokens Are Ready
